Our children’s camp has provided exceptional artistic training and experiences for more than 20 years. Up to 40 children ages 8-18 are introduced to and gain experience with theatrical tools to perform on stage: creative drama, improvisation, dance, acting, vocal technique, diction, ensemble work, and character development. We provide new experiences for our campers and our community by introducing and exploring theatrical materials, plays, musicals, writers, and composers.
2019 summer marked the 20th consecutive summer of Camp Madhatter since 1999, and Camp Madhatter has 21 years of camp under its belt! We want to continue to enhance and challenge the returning campers as well as cater to the first-year campers to build their theatrical experiences.
Because of our generous sponsors and community members, no camper is ever turned away for lack of funds. Many campers return every year, and a few campers have been to drama camp for more than 10 consecutive years. The camp has become a key part of their theatrical training!
Camp tuition is $100 with some partial sponsorships available. Sponsorships are on a first-come/first-serve basis. We hope that you will join us for this two-week journey that explores the creativity of theatre! Space is limited, so register early!

Mim Maas Memorial Scholarship
In 2019, Mim Maas, a long-standing member of the Madhatters Community Theatre, passed away after a tragic accident and long convalescence. She was an advocate for children and children’s theatre and loved all aspects of the art of theatre.
In her honor, the Mim Maas Memorial Scholarship was created to make it possible for eligible children to attend Camp Madhatter. Please consider giving to this fund by purchasing a Golden Ticket or making a donation of your choice below.
